The summer of 2001, TSSF got asked to be part of a Dag Nasty tribute compilation. Dag Nasty being one of mine and Denis's all time favorite bands we jumped at the chance! We drove to Detroit where my friend Royce Nunley from The Suicide Machines had just built a studio in his basement. We tracked all the music, and went back to Chicago to record the vocals with Gary Kahn. There was a lot of things happening in everyones lives, and this would be the last recording the band would do with Denis, and Darrin. We played Krazy Fest in Louisville that summer, and that was the last show this line up would play. The multi tracks from this session, would be lost to time, and the only thing that is around is this unreleased rough mix. I did the best I could to clean it up in Pro Tools. As the years would go on, it would seemingly be that all the mutli tracks to every recording session we ever did would disappear. Hopeless Records seems to have lost the 2" Reels from our E.P. and everything else we did after that, including all the sessions we did with Rick are missing...
